A few games off

There will be no game tonight as the roller derby girls have the rink reserved to prepare for their championship match.  They also have it reserved next Wednesday, however that will be the last time they do it for at least 6 months.

This coming Saturday I’ll be going to the UA/NAU football game instead of hockey.  We’ll be throwing a party at my place before the game with the pool, bbq, air hockey, and table hockey available for all.  Party starts at 3pm.  You are invited.

Saturday we had a decent showing and played a 4 on 4 half court game with Tim in goal.  The white team started off strong in the first period with an incredible mid-air tip by Bob followed by two goals from Greg to give them the lead.  However Ben and the dark team battled back and after 3 periods the score was tied 4-4.  This lead to a shootout where both Bob and Chad scored, creating a deadlock which would not be broken after 4 rounds.  Tie game, 5-5.

Keep your stick on the ice, and be ready for hockey to start up again Saturday, September 15th!
